Computer Engineering Master student from Colombia, looking to create meaningful projects that impact communities using data

I am Juan Manuel Zuluaga, an international student pursuing a master’s in computer science with a keen interest in Data Science and Data Analysis. My domain specialization lies in Machine Learning and Data Management, with research experience spanning across healthcare, social media, and e-commerce sectors.

I would describe myself as a person who is passionate about leveraging data to drive decision-making processes and create tech for good. I love learning new technologies that can enhance my skill set further and work projects that can impact communities.

My technical prowess includes Python, SQL, Java, C++, C#, PowerBI, Spark, Hadoop, Pytorch, Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Matlab,TensorFlow among others. I have successfully applied these skills in various projects such as Twitter sentiment analysis and Fake News Classifier where I built models with high accuracy rates.

In my role as a Research Assistant at Santa Clara University and as a Children Coding Instructor at Vineyard AppCamp,I have demonstrated my ability to transform complex data sets into actionable insights. I have also shown adaptability and flexibility in my teaching methods catering to individual learning styles.
